Black Elk calavera by tomasito, 2008Tanya and I are preparing a Dia de los Muertos exhibit as an installation in the lobby glass case at the Public Library in Redding, CA.
The Dia de los Muertos (November 2) follows Dia de Todos Santos and is an important celebration in Mexico and much of the United States.
Our installation will be as colorful as possible--fun and even funny--but also thought provoking and respectful toward the dead.
And a good Memento Mori for all the people of Redding, CA.
