A couple of weeks ago I received the above e-note from Brother Joe--who had just returned from a trip to Israel.
When people ARE holy, the land they live in is holy.

I've been reading for some time the various installments of your five different blogs and must finally say what a treat it's been reading from your life's adventures. Lurking is fine, but many I have spoken to have encouraged me to make myself known.
Some months back a phone call "out of the blue" was made to Vincent from uncle Jack, and Vince emailed me with your blog address.
I'm truly amazed at your life "post us"... and relish the read as you tell of your travels. What a different lifestyle I have. Having not flown too far from the nest. Married, had two children of my own and in general- plucked along- doing the American thing- work and buy stuff. The richness of your experience is a polarity to my lean "comfort zone"... and reading out loud some of your passages- my wife says- "now don't get any ideas!"...
I'm closing in on 50 about ready to be 49 in some 8 days... and am looking around wondering what it's all meant- for me I guess it's been the girls. My oldest, now 19 and in Art school in San Fran and the younger looking to follow her- means the wife and I will probably be left here in paradise. At which point i may have to uproot, break the comfort zone and land somewhere over there... amazing stuff-
well, i just wanted to say hi- I mean why not- you've put yourself out there with your blogs- so hi!
Thanks, Paul the Radio Guy.
I appreciate your words.
Thanks a lot.
