Basic Truth

People are VERY different--it seems to me.

They want different things out of life for sure.

But it also seems that basically people are a LOT alike.

What they want is pretty much the same.

They want to be happy, don't they?

They don't want to be forced to do things they don't want to do

They don't want to be threatened with death or injury.

Mostly people don't WANT to kill other people--they don't WANT to steal or hurt others.

Isn't that true? Or don't I understand something basic about human nature?
